The course provides insights into the diversity of French and francophone cultures and civilizations.

This course includes an expanded discussion of French culture and daily life.

Students acquire vocabulary and grammatical patterns and structures necessary for comprehension of standard spoken and written French at the intermediate level. An emphasis on the reading of novels, short stories, poems and plays in French as a means of enhancing basic French language skills. This course includes an expanded discussion of French culture and daily life.
