Health Sciences
San José City College offers an Associate in Arts (AA) Health Sciences and Certificate of Achievement. The Health Sciences program will provide students with a strong foundation in human anatomy, human physiology, and microbiology. The courses in this certificate are the common prerequisites for community college and university health occupations majors including nursing, respiratory therapy, radiological science, physical therapy, occupational health, dental assistant, and dental hygiene.
