Counseling Division

The Counseling Division assists students in identifying their strengths and achieving their academic potential.  The counseling faculty are available to guide students in academic planning to meet the requirements for completion of certificates, degrees, transferring, as well as supporting students’ personal interests.  Students are encouraged to develop an educational plan with a counselor to help achieve their educational and career goals. Counselors are available by appointment, online, or during specific drop-in hours. The Counseling Division is in the Robert N. Chang Student Center.

In addition to counseling services, guidance courses and workshops are offered to ensure students’ personal, academic, and career success. For more information, contact the Counseling Division at (408) 288-3750 or visit the website at https://www.sjcc.edu/counseling/academic_counseling.aspx
