The Veteran's Resource Center (VRC) is located in the Student Center in room SC-215. The Center provides resource information for Veterans, a study area, computer availability, peer support, personal counseling, and a place for Veterans to interact with other Veterans. Our goal is to provide Veteran students with services and resources to assist them as they embark on achieving their educational goals. In collaboration with various resources on campus and Veteran community organizations and resources, we promote success by assisting students to overcome social, academic, transfer, and/or personal challenges.

The VRC provides a space for veterans to gather, socialize, and form relationships with other veterans. This space is a hub for Veterans programming efforts that include connecting with the Student Association of Veterans and accessing resources provided by the college and local veterans agencies. Successful veteran students here at SJCC need a holistic approach to support services which includes close collaboration with Financial Aid, Counseling, Veterans Resource Center, and the Student Affairs department overall.
