CalWORKs

CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) is a state funded program (cash aid) that provides support to low-income individuals with dependent children who are receiving County assistance. CalWORKs is lifting families out of poverty through education.

Eligible students receive on and off campus resources like:

• Assistance completing college and FAFSA applications

• Academic & Career Counseling

• Priority Registration

• Transportation

• Textbook purchase (Book Vouchers)

• Supplies (uniforms, materials, etc.)

• Child Care

• CalWORKs Work-Study

• Mental Health Counseling
