Drug-Free Workplace

In accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Acts, it is the policy of the San José/Evergreen Community College District to provide a drug-free campus community and workplace (Board Policy 3550). The unlawful manufacture, possession, distribution, or use of a controlled substance is prohibited on the campuses and District facilities. Violation of this standard may result in dismissal under the applicable regulations of Title V of the California Code of Regulations and will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.
