Student Organizations

Student organizations shall obtain and maintain recognition via the policies and processes established by the department of Student Development & Activities.  Groups shall be subject to revocation of their charter or other disciplinary action for violation of such policies or regulations.

Financial Responsibilities; Student Body Associations and Student Organizations

In order to assure efficient operation and prudent expenditure of funds under student control, the following policies will govern:

• The Associated Student Government shall be responsible for student body association expenses and shall not be responsible for the financial obligations of student organizations not under its sponsorship and/or jurisdiction.
• Approved expenses of staff members assigned to supervise AS activities may be borne within the college budget. The expenses of staff members assigned to supervise other student sponsored events may be borne by the appropriate student organization.
