Certificates of Completion

San José City College offers Certificates of Completion. These certificates are not approved by the State. A certificate will be issued by the department offering the program. A noncredit Certificate of Completion confirms that a student has completed a noncredit educational program of noncredit courses that prepares the student to progress in a career path or to take degree-applicable credit courses. Only courses will be posted on the student’s transcripts. Certificates of Competency will not be posted to transcripts.
