Veterans Resource Center
San José City College’s Veterans Services is committed to helping military veterans, their eligible dependents, and their families as they transition from military to civilian life in pursuit of a higher education.
Veterans Services provides all military veterans and their eligible dependents with a comprehensive Veterans Resource Center (VRC) located on the second floor of the Student Center in Room SC-215. The VRC offers military veterans and their eligible dependents with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment to help them learn of the many support programs and services offered by the College and external entities.
Veterans Services works with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the California Department of Veterans Affairs, and local veteran organizations to provide support to military veterans and their eligible dependents.
Veterans Services personnel are available to assist with the certifying enrollment certification to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for Veterans Affairs education benefits. Veterans Services personnel are also available to help military veterans and their eligible dependents with creating or updating student educational plans and assist with career placement or transfer to four-year universities.
Military veterans and their eligible dependents are encouraged to contact Veterans Services to learn more about the programming and services available at San José City College.
