Transfer Admission Agreements (TAA) and Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

Guaranteed Admissions

San José City College and 10 participating public and private four-year institutions are offering Transfer Admission Agreement (TAA)/Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) programs for students planning to transfer to participating colleges and universities. The TAA/TAG programs are for students who wish to have an early confirmed  guaranteed  admission.

TAA/TAG Benefits

  • Students will have early confirmation of guaranteed admission and may receive priority registration.
  • Students are registered in the Career/Transfer Center as a transfer student, making them eligible to participate in transfer-related workshops.
  • TAA/TAG participants will be added to the transfer mailing list to receive updated transfer information such as transfer workshops, four-year college transfer tours, and more.
  • The application fee for some TAA/TAG participating institutions may be waived.
