Academic Success - Certificate of Competency
The Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Academic Success Certificate of Competency will prepare students with academic skills needed for everyday life. Students will work to develop their foundational reading, writing, and math proficiency.
This SAS Academic Success Certificate of Competency will be issued by the SAS Department and will not appear on the transcripts.
- Identify the main points, characters, and sight words in assigned readings with 75% accuracy.
- Identify and write in correct and complete simple sentences with 75% accuracy.
- Apply mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with 75% accuracy then given numbers in the 1,000s.
- Prepare a variety of documents and files using MS Office with adaptive technology, independently in three (3) consecutive trials.
